I really don't want to end up disliking this because I love it. It just doesn't really seem to fit into the set!

It's busted in the wider context of Magic. In here it's fine (so far) and actually a key card for the lifegain deck. I would sac any enchantment to go get the card-drawing one or searing meditation if I have built around them.

Problem is that out of seven white enchantments (including Searing Meditation but not Ajani's Mantra) only two are commons, so I suspect the chance of having this plus a good enchantment plus an enchantment to sacrifice plus the other lifegain cards is approaching zero.

Maybe this is just a theoretical card then. I'm not sure we should bend the contents of the set just to fit this in. That said only 2 common enchantments is very low! Each colour should have at least one at common I think.

I've changed my mind about the lifegain deck wanting this card. I'd like the rares in this set to either be build-around-me or just-above-the-curve in power. Not bombs that are unbeatable and not theoretical cards that don't really serve a purpose in the set. So although this would be awesome in custom busted cube or something I vote for retirement here.
