Unite 2 can actually be hard to get, and this guy is miserable without it.

Why not change the ability based on unite? Make him a 2/2 for 4, make the normal ability Aether Adept, then get the Dismisser ability for Unite 2? Then he's never useless and the unite ability is an awesome bonus.

Woah, this guy just got very strong! Mist Raven eat your heart out? Probably flying and one less power is better than the Unite dismisser but this guy is definitely good now.

With unite gone, I've reworked this guy. Now has some nice symmetry. If cast from hand he bounces to hand, if cast from top of library he bounces to top of library.
