Having to have the reveal top card as part of the ability is super inelegant, but I think you have to have it. Frown

Simon O'Keeffe · 2012-05-26 16:31:28

This shouldn't have the first ability. You should have to work for it. Also isn't this a red ability?

Kieran Symington · 2012-05-26 16:31:29

Kieran might be right. lose the permanent reveal in exchange for lowering to CMC 4. I think the idea is a Corpse Dance form top of library, but might be interesting to move it to red as a kind of Ball Lightning from top of library

Simon O'Keeffe · 2012-05-28 10:01:34

This card isn't mine. I wonder why Bakerverse thinks it is.

Kieran Symington · 2012-05-30 12:28:08

Sorry, I misimported a few cards from the spreadsheet with the wrong owner and I corrected them last night. I guess I didn't recognize this guy as one of mine!

Thomas Baker · 2012-05-30 14:36:26

Acting on Kieran and Simon's suggestions.

Thomas Baker · 2012-05-30 14:37:41

Flavor text: "Mountain! I swear I had a Hellion in here somewhere ..."

Thomas Baker · 2012-05-30 14:42:26

Would it be wrong to have this guy do permanents of any type rather than just creatures? Would be quite funny to have him conjure up all kinds of useless things!

Kieran Symington · 2012-05-30 14:57:51

Imagine conjuring your Temporal Aperture into play, only to have to lose it at end of turn! Even better when you conjure a Mountain into play!

Simon O'Keeffe · 2012-05-30 15:02:11

This guy gets awesomer.

Thomas Baker · 2012-05-30 15:18:36

I think this should be rare, can randomly put your game winning bomb directly into play (as well as randomly getting you past a land glut in the mid game)

Paul Hodgson · 2012-05-30 15:53:47

Do you want to put your game-winning bomb into play only to sac it at end of turn?

Thomas Baker · 2012-05-30 16:14:34

Should he have Foreshadow/Future Sight? Does that make him more boring or actually much more fun? Both players knowing you can make a blocker (for this turn only!) sounds pretty great to me. And it helps us cut down on temporary in favor of permanent reveal. Could up the cost to compensate.

Thomas Baker · 2012-06-01 18:47:14

I like this card a lot but can see an argument for pushing to rare or retiring.
