I'm wondering if our black removal spell at uncommon should have an upside rather than downside. Maybe the unconditional targeting is enough? Vendetta also did not allow regeneration

that could work. Give it a big flashback like Chainer's Edict so it doesn't become oppressive.

I like this but I'm not sure we'll be able to fit any more black removal spells into the set - especially at uncommon where we only get six cards!

Great card, the life cost is a real concern so you're actually less likely to flashback later on (unless you have lifegain).
