Does the 2 include him or not? Other Unite wordings are clear that it is 2 *other* permanents.

Considering retiring all these guys. They're yet more small creatures, they have hybrid mana costs and the similar abilities could probably be done on mono-coloured guys.

They are a lot better for a two-color Unite strategy. Without them it is never going to happen in Sealed. Then again, Sealed isn't everything.

We could make cards that help out more with unite - Scuttlemutt and Swirling Spriggan style abilities can go on creatures without much cost. Plus we already have three things that can be any colour to help with unite.
