Vitae Priest totally owns this guy! Not sure this is much of a drawback though - unless all lifegain gets retemplated to target players.

Yeah I didn't check to see how many interactions there were. I know there are one or two at least. Plus there is the drawback of having lifegain cards in your own deck, there are a few in black. If we are really worried can make him 4/3

Question during draft (quizically): "is there any ways to make an opponent gain life?" Love that this is hosed by the 1 drop that taps for life. Probably unplayable in WB but very good in any other B deck. I think that's a very good thing?

This guy is definitely too good for a B common creature. The drawback only has one way to trigger it for your opponent at common. It does make deckbuilding "interesting" in that he nombos with LIfe-Stealer and a bunch of the uncommons but I think we have to nerf him.

was a non-bo with life stealer, so sat in my hand for ages. bit of a corner case though, so think it's fine

Yes finally! This guy had almost no drawback in all of our previous testing, good to find out he actually requires some thought now and again.
