The idea was that it would be a bit like Crystal Ball, which I have only just looked at. Didn't realize it is Scry 2! Bumped this.

Used to great effect by Louis in all-commons. I don't like it on aesthetic grounds. It's actually very good, probably too good, as you can use it multiple times per turn as long as you have two creatures.

I just don't like scrying because you equipped something. What's the meaning of that? Flagged in playtesting with "too good?"

Well the idea was that the creature is using the wand to glimpse the future, I see your point about it triggering on equip, should probably be a tap ability.

This seems better as it feels more like an equipment and you can't just use it repeatedly on your turn if you have nothing better to do.

Wasn't that great in my 7 creature deck, but still did good work once my 2/2's and 2/1's couldn't attack profitably. Still a cheap crystal ball once equipped.
