I still think this should be an uncommon. I love Determined Pilgrim because there's a choice on whether or not to kill him and thus enable soulsong and I think that's what the white commons should be like.

I don't think lifelink should be prevalent at common because it makes things too easy. Sunsoul Lark is okay because he looks really awful but is actually awesome!

Whilst Baker said to keep the abilities I think this still qualifies. He doesn't gain more life if you increase his power, but he does if you give him lifelink.

Double Strike with Lifelink is a pretty cool combiantion, but on a 1/1 it's going to be a bit awkward since if you can't pump him he trades with a Sanctuary Cat!

This would be an interesting change. He'd be weaker normally (since he's trade with a 2/2) but be way better with things that increased his power. Got to be worth a try, if only because it stops it being a reprint!
