I love how we can make cards without having to consider their effect on other formats!

What I *don't* like about this card is that it is clearly not printable in a "real" WotC set. It feels somehow antithetical to what we are trying to do. I can't deny that it plays fine, though.

Aww, I really like this. Perhaps we can re-purpose the ability on another card? Maybe the Black Seerlord?

Yes! This would make perfect sense for the Black lord and would get around the problem of setting up Portent only to not be able to use it. The extra Portent effect could be this plus something else (Vampiric Tutor, Diabolic Tutor or just search for more cards).
