I think it has to also tapp for {1} like a Shimmering Grotto that enters the battlefield tapped in order to earn the last ability? I don't think it is playable without that. Maybe super-desperate manafixing in a three-color deck but never in a two-color deck as it basically doesn't function as a land only as a fixer.
