The two abilities on this don't seem to go together at all. Playing the cards from the top should give you enough advantage that blowing up the world would end up hurting you more than your opponent! Also we already have rares in blue and green with abilities similar to the first one. I much prefer the other staff because it rewards you most for doing something different (diversifying your mana)

What I was trying to go for was channeling power via the staff is dangerous, think I missed though so will ditch
