I understand why you made this card, and I had the same idea, but Scornful Egotist wasn't worth it for a similar effect back in Onslaught and I'm guessing this guy isn't either. I think you need to make it at least marginally useful by itself to warrant a slot in even a dedicated soulswap deck. Nobody plays a vanilla 1/1 for G, which is the best outcome for this.

You're probably right. I think this should make him playable in Soulswap decks as a way to trade up in mana costs. Still useless as a creature, though!
