I'm not sure what is red about this? Also I think it might be kind of expensive for what it does, but maybe is a blowout in the cases where it gets two creatures. I guess you can use it on only just one creature by targeting it with both abilities, and the second will just do nothing.

I was torn between doing damage to the creature and this effect and decided this would make it more worth the cost. You could consider it as doing massive damage to the creature then exiling it if it would go to the graveyard, since that's a red ability that's not too far from what this does!
