This card makes me wish we were making a set so I could amass multiples and crush my opponents. Then again I think Surge is probably too mana intensive for that to be a good strategy.

Well we can easily just follow your idea of similar but not identical commons, and make a wind drake version, or a black version, or one with Surge--U

Dropping surge cost to 1. Aggro probably needs a push, and early game you cant afford to stunt your development too much by paying 2
