I'm not sure if this is beyond the point of the ability, as this is a card you might leave in your sideboard anyway. A repeatable removal spell, even if narrow, is probably a bad idea.

This seems incredibly powerful. I'm not convinced Mindcall is going to work since the spell you cast is either too good or not good enough. Could potentially replace with a one-time cast from sideboard at a high cost (like my card from Towerfall) or a 'spell Farcry' that lets you cast a spell from your sideboard (either at a set value for free or by paying its cost).

Hmm, tweaking Mindcall to be just a one time ability might work. I guess the problem with these cards is that they don't offer the interesting decisions that Farcry does. You just always put these in your sideboard and cast them if required. Maybe we could tweak the wording on Farcry to work for any spell as you suggest. Farcry 3 (When you cast this card you may also cast a card with converted mana cost 3 or less from your sideboard, without paying its mana cost.)

My inclination is that Mindcall should be single use.
