I think this CDE common needs first strike less than the RWU one as it already has a dubiously RW ability in the form of it's sac effect. Could make it a 4/2 and get rid of the first strike? On its own the card is better how it is now but perhaps to make the cycle feel nicer it needs to change.

Hmm, not sure we can do that actually. If goes to four power then it's Seal of Warleader's Helix. I guess it is already Seal of Lightning Helix. Questions: should it tap to sac (don't like that much), should it be smaller and have haste? How about 3/2, no first strike, and haste? 2/3? I am really happy with the ability because it fits the wedge really well. But need to tweak the details.

It's probable that something needs to give on this guy before he can be the reason-to-be-WBR-at-Common card. He's just too good? Trades with a 6 toughness creature, does the last three damage to your opponent, etc. So Kieran tells me anyway. Can we do something to make his sac ability less relevant? Make him a 2/2?

The fact that this was a 6 damage spell attached to a 3/2 first strike was insane. This is probably better.
