How about "Enchanted creature and all other creatures with the same name get +2/+0 and have first strike"? Too good?

I thought about it, but then realised it would affect tokens. Swarms of 2/1 First-Strike Homunculus tokens might be an issue in that respect!

If you can pull off a two card combo that also requires you to have a bunch of creatures in your graveyard I reckon you're entitled to a bunch of 2/1 first striking tokens.

We have a horned turtle in the set, I don't think a bunch of 2/1's will be that much of a problem ;)

Going for the better version. Bring on the homunculi overrun! Affects opposing creatures too but I think that's okay as a drawback!

Gemination or Germination? Geminate appears to be a thing, wither to do with multiple teeth growing from one or consonant elongation in phonetics.

Gemination is the word I wanted - it came up in a Thesaurus as a synonym of duplication, which made sense regarding this card.

Changing the name. The word Distomic doesn't actually exist but is taken from the Greek 'Distomus' which literally means a two-edged sword. We are learning as well as creating!
